Ofichem wins the entrepreneurship price.

Ofichem Ter Apel is the glorious winner of the price of entrepreneurship of the Netherlands for 2012. General Manager Weite Oldenziel received this award from Queens Commissioner Max van den Berg at Thursday evening, 27th. September 2012.

During this evening the Martini Plaza in Groningen was an arena filled with 350 entrepreneurs who were entertained by cabaret players of the group MiER; a perfect combination of humor and entrepreneurship. Together with trendwatcher Rob Creemers and Robert Maaskant, trainer of FC Groningen,   the Groninger award of entrepreneurship was celebrated.

At the end of the evening, Ofichem took off with the honor. The company in Ter Apel  manufactures, develops and distributes active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for both the veterinary and human market. The jury, under the direction of Representative Wilma Mansveld,  voted unanimous for Ofichem. This choice was based on the clear vision of entrepreneurship, the modern personnel policy, the solid foundation and contact with clients.
The other nominees were psychiatric youth institution Molendrift in Groningen and De Haan Special Equipment in Stadskanaal; manufacturer of lifting blocks and steel wire rope sockets.
